Cabochon Cuff

Create an art cuff with bead embroidery and lots of embellishment. This is a class geared towards artistic vision, creativity and technique!

There is a required kit for this class which includes a 30 x 40 mm glass cabochon and brass base ($16.00), or 30mm round glass cabochon and brass base ($15.00).  The kit also includes a picture of your choosing, should you not wish to use your own photograph for the class.  The kit includes use of sealant, gel medium and UV curing lamps. If you bring your own photograph, please print them out on high quality gloss photo paper, and do bring extra copies.

Materials:

Lacy’s Stiff Stuff 3”x7” piece (preferred dyed, but white will do)
Ultrasuede 3”x7” piece
Ruler
Permanent marker
E-6000 glue
Tube of cylinder beads (delicas, tohos)
Tube of 15 seed beads to coordinate with the cylinders
Variety of beads sz. 11’s, 15’s, in colors to coordinate with the prior beads
Fun beads to embroider (pearls, crystals, Czech beads
Rhinestone chain (around 6”)
Hook and eye clasp, or clasp of your choice
Favorite beading thread
Variety of beading needles
Scissors
Task lamp
