"There are many different beading stitches out there; many of them have been used for centuries all over the world. Sometimes new variations show up. One of the things I love is to play with these stitches, find their possibilities and specialties.

All stitches have their own character and opportunities but also have limitations. When it comes to stability, texture, increases, three dimensional structures, one stitch may be helpful, another less so. For these reasons, I started combining them. Some stitches may look similar, but have completely different thread paths and I figured how this increases the options that were limited by the use of one stitch only.

In this sample piece you will find many variations of this theme, you will learn how to shape and bend your constructions, just as your design requests.

Students should be familiar with cubic Right angle weave and experienced in seedbeading techniques in common."

Kit required, $TBD.
