Join Mary Karg as she takes you back to Kindergarten with a brand new box of crayons (or, in this case, colored pencils). All classes are suitable for all levels; beginners and more experienced metalsmiths will learn new techniques with these fun projects.

Students will complete this beautiful and colorful project to create a multilayered and dimensional botanical pendant. In this class we will construct an one-of-a-kind necklace using metal sheet, wire, pearls and colored pencils to create and assemble the necklace with a single rivet -- no soldering.  Students will leave the class with a beautiful  bouquet necklace that never needs water and doesn't wilt. In this beginning metals class, students will focus on metal forming, assembly, cold connections, and the process of applying colored pencil on copper.
