Join Mary Karg as she takes you back to Kindergarten with a brand new box of crayons (or, in this case, colored pencils). All classes are suitable for all levels; beginners and more experienced metalsmiths will learn new techniques with these fun projects.

Using Copper sheet and patterned brass, students will create butterfly or moth wing jewelry of their own choosing.  Coloring as the insect appears in nature or the their imagination, students can choose to make earrings, pendant or bracelet.   Emphasis will be on colored pencil application and drawing, forming metal and assembly with rivets.  Suitable for all levels, previous metal experience a plus but not necessary.
