Lotus Cocktail Ring

Level - Intermediate to Advanced

This beautiful cocktail ring is the embodiment of “grace blooming” on your finger. In nature, the flower buds push up through murky and muddy water, and as the bud blooms, the core remains untainted despite the mucky environment in which it began its life. This is seen as an analogy for the human spirit and our experiences in this world—regardless of how difficult or challenging our lives are, nothing can taint the purity of the human spirit. That is why the lotus is viewed in many cultures as a symbol of purity and enlightenment. In Hinduism, it is believed that the spirit of the Sacred Lotus Flower is a part of each human being. In this tradition, it is a symbol of fertility, prosperity, beauty, divinity, and life.

This stunning ring is constructed using various stitches, including a PRAW vine shaped band that encircles two Swarovski pearls. A beautiful chaton is bezeled and surrounded by sculptured petals. The ring is definitely a showstopper and an amazing statement piece.
