Hidden Findings Frame for Colored Pencil on Copper Drawing*

Mary Karg

Sunday,
April 19
10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Level - Intermediate to advanced

In this class the student will learn to apply colored pencil on copper to create their own work of art.  We will construct a frame with embellishments out of sterling silver and small stones that allows us to set the piece from the back. This frame and setting technique secures and protects the drawing while appearing to float with no visible attachments. Metalwork and soldering experience required (the two previous workshops will be adequate.)

*This 3-day workshop organically builds on the skills learned each day and therefore cannot be divided into separate classes
