"I discovered beads in the early ‘90’s and after learning the basics, I began experimenting with designs of my own. Flowers have always been a passion for me — and since I really don’t have much luck growing a fabulous garden in Albuquerque—I let my seed beads bloom for me. I am always on a quest for new and different types of designs.
My SILICA LACE NECKLACE was sort of lost in the bottom of my bead project stash - I guess you might say that it was lost in the bottom of my brain - for almost a year. I first found only several components which seemed to me to be promising. One day I finally took all of the bead tubes out of the big plastic bag and found the other components which tied the whole necklace together. It just took a few more weeks to complete the first necklace."
Margo Field taught for Beads by Blanche many years, and fortunately for her (and unfortunately for us) she retired from teaching. However, she has most graciously allowed us to teach her absolutely gorgeous floral masterpieces. We are thrilled to be able to share Margo's classes with you again!
